The UA Chess Club regularly meets for casual chess:

-Thursdays: 3:30-6:30 PM in the foodcourt at the Student Union Building (University of Alberta), September through April *Starts September 16*
-The 4th Friday of the Month, 8-12PM @ Avenue Pizza Restaurant/Lounge. (Sept, Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb, Mar. Must be 18yrs of age to attend)




And for tournament chess:

-Blitz, once/month in CAB 373 or 369

All skill levels are welcome and do attend!
--> (On one end of the spectrum we've taught some people the rules of the game ... on the other, we've had exchange students on national teams from countries around the world.)
